  • How does it work?

    MIXIMALISTE offers LIVE! Sessions where customers can pre-order from an exclusive designer capsule collection. These LIVE! Sessions are limited in time (usually 2 to 3 weeks).

    When you place an order, you pay a deposit corresponding to 50% of the total order price including taxes, duties and shipping costs. By placing the order you authorize the full amount to be charged to the payment method you select. The remaining 50% balance (total order price minus deposit) will be charged after the product arrives at our warehouse and is ready to ship.

    When LIVE! Sessions end, the designer starts the production of the exact number of products that have been ordered during the LIVE! Session.

    When orders are ready to ship, you will get an email notification that the 50% balance due to settle the order (total order price minus deposit) will be charged to the same payment method you used to originally order the products. The orders are shipped to you upon payment clearing.

General Questions

  • Do I need to set up an account to place an order?

    You can browse the website without registering but you need to register and sign in to place an order or access your “Account”. “Register” is easy and only requires you to enter your email address and select a password.

  • How do I change my email address or password on file?

    You can change your email address by accessing your “Account” under “Email and Preferences” and your password in “Account” under “Change Password”.

  • I forgot my Sign In password, what should I do?

    If you forgot your password, you can request a new password in the “Sign In” area. Just enter your registered email address and we will send you a link to reset your password by email. You can also change your password in “Account” > “Change Password”

  • How do I unsubscribe from MIXIMALISTE’s Newsletter?

    You can unsubscribe from our newsletter either directly from the newsletter email by clicking on “Unsubscribe” or by accessing your “Account” under “Email and Preferences”

How do I shop?

  • Do I need to specify the delivery country at the beginning of my session?

    The product prices displayed on MIXIMALISTE include duties and taxes and corresponding to the country where you intend to have your products delivered. They will show in the currency associated with this delivery country. The default country/currency selected is based on the IP address you access the website from. If the country and currency showing on the top left corner of the website does not correspond to the address you want the products shipped to, we recommend that you select the country corresponding to your shipping address. Prices and currency vary to take into account taxes, and duties that are applicable to that country. In case you browse the website in a given country and you enter a shipping address that corresponds to a different country at checkout, price and currency will be adjusted at that stage

  • How do I choose the right size?

    Sizes are listed on our website according to the information provided directly by the designers we work with. Just click on the 'Select a Size' menu to view all available sizes.

    We understand that picking a size can be difficult sometimes, which is why we offer the following information to help you make a decision:

    • Size conversion chart: You can find our size conversion chart by clicking on the 'View Size Chart' tab on the product page. Please note that sizing may vary by brand, as well as the product itself, and may not fully match the information shown on the chart. This chart is meant as a general guide only. The most accurate information we can provide you with regarding a product’s size will be its exact measurements.
    • Product measurements: We provide detailed measurements all of our products. You can find this information by clicking on the 'View Size Chart' tab. Measurements are provided directly by the designers we work with.

    If you are still unsure about a product's size, please contact our Customer Care team at customercare@miximaliste.com so that we can assist you further.

  • Are products available in limited quantities?

    As all our products are made on order, there is usually no limit on quantities for a given product. We do not carry inventories and we produce the quantities of products that have been pre-ordered. In some cases, products may be available in limited quantities due to the availability of fabrics that designers have allocated to a given product. In this case it will be indicated on the product detail page. When a product is sold out that will also show on the product detail page.

  • Once I put a product in my Shopping cart is it reserved?

    In case of products available in limited quantities, products put in the shopping basket are not reserved until purchased and can be purchased by other customers.

  • Can I shop from different designers LIVE! Sessions?

    Yes you can, but as product delivery time varies from designer to designer, you can only order from one designer LIVE! Session at a time. If you want to purchase products from different LIVE! Sessions, you need to place a different order for each LIVE! Session.

  • Can I change or cancel my order after it has been placed?

    If you want to delete a product before the LIVE! Session ends, you can go to “Account” > “Account Purchase History” and click on “View Details” for the given order. You will then see all the information about this order and you can cancel either the order as a whole, or an individual product. You will automatically get a full refund to the method of payment you used to place your order.

    If you want to add a product, you will have to place a new order.

    If you cancel an order after the LIVE! Session ends, go to “Account” > “Purchase History”. Click on “View Details” for the given order and choose if you want to cancel the whole order or an individual product. Click “Request a Refund”. According to the circumstances, MIXIMALISTE can, at its sole discretion, grant you a refund. This refund for deposit will only be made in Site Credits. You will receive an email with MIXIMALISTE decision.

  • How will I know you have received my order?

    After you complete the deposit transaction, you will be redirected to an “Order Complete” page. You will also receive an order confirmation email a few minutes after you place your order. Please check your junk or spam folders if it does not appear in your inbox. If you want to make sure that our emails reach your inbox, please add no-reply@miximaliste.com to your address book. Review the order confirmation and contact us at CustomerCare@miximaliste.com if you see any errors. You can also review the details of your order from “Account”, under “Order History”.

  • Can I still place an order after a LIVE! Session has ended?

    In general no. But you can contact us at CustomerCare@miximaliste.com to see if an order in your size has been cancelled and is available. We will always try to accommodate you if possible by contacting the designer, but there is no guarantee.

Product pricing

  • How is product price calculated?

    MIXIMALISTE has a policy of price transparency as we intend to provide maXIMAL quality for the MInimal price.

    Product prices on MIXIMALISTE are based on production cost, which includes fabrics and manufacturing. Our prices correspond to 3 times production cost where: 1x goes to production cost, 1x goes to the designer and 1x goes to MIXIMALISTE. To this price we add handling costs, and duties and taxes that are applicable to the country where orders are shipped.

  • Does product pricing include taxes and duties?

    All prices displayed on MIXIMALISTE include duties and taxes for the intendent country of shipment as indicated on the top left of the homepage. If you intend to ship to a different country and want to know the price for this country you should change the country selected on the top left side of the page.

Payments

  • How does payment work?

    When you choose to purchase from one of our exclusive designer LIVE! Sessions, you agree to pay the full order amount at checkout.

    You are initially charged a deposit corresponding to 50% of the total order price (taxes and duties, handling & shipping included).

    After the products arrive in our warehouse, you will receive an email informing you that our system will automatically process the remaining balance due within 24 hours. The product will be shipped to you as soon as this second transaction clears.

    Both amounts will appear clearly at checkout and you can check the status of your order at “Account” > “Purchase History”.

  • What payment methods does MIXIMALISTE accept?

    MIXIMALISTE provides a secure payment method for purchases:

    • You may use your credit or debit card directly on the site. We currently accept VISA, MASTERCARD and AMERICAN EXPRESS.

    In addition, you can use your Site Credits at checkout.

  • What is the payment process?

    • Credit or debit card: When using your credit or debit card to pay:
      • Enter your card details on the checkout page. When you click on “Place your order”, we send your payment card information to Stripe (our payment gateway partner) by encrypted Secure Sockets Layer (“SSL”), the standard for secure internet transactions. No payment card information, except for the card brand, the last 4 digits and expiration date is ever stored on servers controlled by MIXIMALISTE.
      • Your full card information is stored on Stripe which is certified as PCI Service Provider Level 1, the most stringent level of certification.
      • Stripe returns to us a token/id corresponding to the payment card. We send this token to our server and use it to have Stripe process the payment according to our instruction.
      • When the transaction is complete you will be directed to an “Order Complete” page. You will also receive a confirmation email from us.
      When you place your initial order you authorize the transaction for the full amount, half of which (the deposit) will be charged right away, the other half (balance due) being charged when the product is ready to ship.
    • Site credits: All refunds of deposits, either for cancellation after LIVE! Sessions end, or for products returns when approved by MIXIMALISTE at its own discretion will be in Site Credits. Unless the shipment has been unavoidably delayed beyond the final stated shipping window, in which case deposits will be refunded to the original payment method.
      Site Credits will appear in “Account”. They can be used for a period of 1 year after they have been credited to your Site Credits Account.
      Site Credits can be used for any and all future orders. Your Site Credit balance will appear at checkout and can be applied in part or in full to your purchase.

  • Do you Accept Multiple Credit Cards Payments for an order?

    We can only accept one payment card to place an order. If you have multiple items in an order, you are welcome to place separate orders with different payment cards. If you want to pay using several payment cards you must separate your orders in to as many separate orders the number of payment cards you wish to use.

  • Which currencies do you accept?

    You can make payments in GBP, EUR and USD. Currencies in which prices appear on the site are linked to the shipping destination countries. This will be displayed on the site so please ensure that you select the country and currency corresponding to your shipping address. To change your default country, simply hover over the country and currency area in the upper left hand side of the homepage and select the country corresponding to your intended shipping destination.

    In case you enter at checkout a shipment address that does not correspond to the country selected to browse the website, the price and the currency displayed at checkout may be modified to reflect the price and currency associated to the shipping destination country as well as the duties and taxes and (if applicable) shipping cost.

  • How do I add or delete a Credit Card?

    Select “Account” > "Payment Methods" to add, delete, or edit your card details.

    Sign into “Account” and click “Payment Methods”. You will see the list of payment cards stored in your account (only last 4 digits). You can delete any card except if the card is associated to an order that has not been completed. Once the order is completed you can delete the card.

Shipping

  • What is the product shipping time?

    On the product detail page of each product we indicate an estimated shipping time window. This corresponds to the estimated time necessary for the designer to have the products manufactured. This time varies from designer to designer and from product to product and is provided directly by the designer based on when they expect your order to arrive in our warehouse. We are not able to provide a more specific date of delivery until your balance due payment has cleared and we ship your products.

    Although we will make every reasonable effort to ensure your order is shipped within the estimated timescales, we cannot guarantee that this will not be affected by any unforeseen circumstances due to a delay in fulfillment by either the designer or their manufacturers. If we cannot meet the estimated shipping date, we will contact you to advise any delay.

  • Where does MIXIMALISTE ship to?

    MIXIMALISTE ships WORLDWIDE.

  • Does MIXIMALISTE ship to multiple addresses?

    Not for a single order. If you want to have products shipped to multiple addresses you should place as many orders as addresses you want the products to be shipped to.

  • Is my package insured?

    Yes. All shipping services used by MIXIMALISTE provide a tracking number and full insurance. In the event that multiple orders are placed with the same shipping destination and on the same account, orders may be combined and, if applicable, the shipping fees will be adjusted unless otherwise requested.

  • Do I have to pay duties and taxes?

    MIXIMALISTE ships worldwide on a DDP (Delivery Duty Paid) basis. All taxes and duties are included in the price at checkout.

  • How much does shipping cost?

    For all orders above £200/€250/$300 shipping is free.

    For orders below £200/€250/$300, shipping costs are added at checkout.

Returns

  • What is your returns policy?

    MIXIMALISTE accepts returns on all products.

  • How do I return an item?

    Upon receiving your order, you can return any item within 14 days of the order’s delivery date. Returns outside of this period are accepted at the discretion of MIXIMALISTE.

    All returns must be notified to MIXIMALISTE before sending the merchandise back. Simply go to your Purchase History page in “Account” to request a Return Authorisation Number (RAN).

    You will receive an email with the RAN.

    Once you have received this RAN, you can return your item using any secure delivery means of your choice. Returns should be shipped with a service that provides a tracking number and insurance as we are not responsible for delayed or lost packages.

    Once your return arrives back at our warehouse, please note that it will generally take 48 hours to process. You will then receive an email notifying you that your return has been successfully completed.

    The returned item must not be worn, altered or washed and must be returned in its original packaging and in its original condition, with all the original tags attached. Please note that orders must be returned from within the same country that they were originally shipped to. Items returned damaged may be refused and sent back to the customer at the discretion of MIXIMALISTE.

    Any returns received without a return authorization number (RAN) or that do not comply with the above may be refused at the discretion of MIXIMALISTE.

    We offer a flexible returns policy to make your online shopping experience even easier. However we do monitor the number of returns made by customers, and continued returns will be flagged and potentially refused at our discretion, or lead to the closure of your MIXIMALISTE account.

  • What should I do if the products I receive are damaged?

    If your item arrives damaged, you may return it for a refund by simply requesting a Return Authorization Number (RAN) within 14 days of delivery.

    Please check the damaged goods box in “Account”> “Order History”> “Refund”. You will be asked to provide images of the damaged item.

    In case of damaged goods, you are entitled to a full refund (including the deposit).

  • What is your Refund Policy?

    For any return, if all conditions described above are met you will:

    Receive a refund to the original payment method used for the order balance charged before shipping.

    MIXIMALISTE may also, at its sole discretion, grant you a refund for the amount corresponding to the 50% deposit paid when you ordered the product. The refund of deposit will only be in the form of Site Credits (except for damaged goods). The site credits will be in the currency you used to place your order.

    We require up to 5 business days from receiving the merchandise at our warehouse to process the refund. Financial institutions may require additional days to process the refund before the funds are returned to your account.

  • Do you accept exchanges of products?

    Due to its Pre-order model, MIXIMALISTE does not offer a systematic exchange policy. If you are interested in securing an alternative size, you can contact us at CustomerCare@miximaliste.com and we will check if a product in your desired size is available, due to a cancellation from another customer. We will also check with the designer if it is possible to fulfill a new order. We will always try to help, but we cannot guarantee the result.
